Arktisch-alpiner Botanischer Garten Tromsø Teil 1 - Arctic-Alpine Botanic Garden Tromsø Part 1

Jedes Jahr besuche ich mit vielen Touristen den botanischen Garten der Universität. Das liegt dabei nicht unbedingt daran, dass die Gäste so interessiert an den selten Pflanzen sind... sondern daran, dass der Garten komplett kostenlos zugänglich ist ;) Leider vergesse ich bis heute immer wieder die Namen vieler Pflanzen und aus diesem Grund habe ich mir vorgenommen eine umfangreiche "Fibel" zu erstellen. Eventuell ist er auch für andere Reiseleiter als Hilfe im Pflanzendschungel des Gartens nützlich. Heute war ich ca. 2 Stunden vor Ort und hatte nur Zeit, um mich in den Bereichen "Himalaya", "Rhododendren", "Kola und Sebirien" (russischer Bereich), "Knollenblüten", "Nordamerika" sowie "Primeln und Schlüsselblumen" umzusehen und Fotos zu machen. Ein paar Schätze möchte ich natürlich auch zeigen.

Every year I visited the botanic garden of the university with many tourists. The main reason is not, that a lot of people are really interested in the plants, but because the admission is free ;) Unfortunately I forget the names of many plants again and again. So this year I decided to create a guide about the different plants. Maybe it will help others too. Today I spent 2 hours in the garden and still I had only time to visit the areas "Himalaya", "Rhododendron", "Kola and Siberia" (Russian area), "Bulbs and Corms", "Northern America" as well as "Primula". Of course I took lots of pictures a well. I'd like to share some treasures!

Angelurlaub auf Rügen - fishing vacation on Rügen

Meine Mutter hat ihren 55. Geburtstag gefeiert und auf ihren Wunsch sind wir an die Ostsee nach Rügen gefahren zum Angeln :D Leider gab es nicht so viele Fische, die bei uns anbeißen wollten... aber wir hatten trotzdem eine schöne Zeit. Dazu habe ich eine neue Erfahrung gemacht. Während im bei ein wenig Regen und Wind am Strand Steine suchen ware, wechselte das Wetter plötzlich auf strömenden Regen und Hagel, weshalb ich am Ende alleine mit dem Rücken zu Hagel sowie wie am Strand hockte... und darauf warte, dass es aufhörte. Leider ging das Wetter dann zu Blitz und Donner über, womit ich mich entschied schnell den nassen Strand und das Meer zu verlassen. Im Auto musste dann leider erst einmal jeden Kleidungsstück wieder trocknen :P

While I was in Germany my mother celebrated her 55. birthday and her wish was it, that we take a short vacation at the Baltic Sea to go fishing. Unfortunately there were not so many fish, that wanted to take our bait... but we still had a great time. Besides I made a whole new experience while I was looking for some nice stones on the beach. It was a little windy and rainy, but not to bad. Sadly this rainy turned into a flood from above and also into hail. To save myself I crouched down and turned my back to the wind to cover most of the hard hail from hitting my face or legs. While I waited for the weather to calm down it had other plans. Suddently thunder and lighting crashed just above my head over the sky and I took it as a sign to get the hell out of the beach area... Last - all my clothes needed to dry when I was back in the car :P
